Afternoon excursion to Sarnath- A sacred Buddhist city which is 12 km from Varanasi. Sarnath is a place where the Buddha preached his first sermon to his five disciples after he had attained enlightenment. Visit the ruins, the Dhanak stupa, Chaukhandi stupa built by Emperror Ashoka, the Buddhist temple by Indian Mahabodhi society. Sarnath Museum (closed on Fridays). The Ashoka pillar at the museum of Sarnath is the National emblem of India.
In the evening time, watch the grand Aarti (worship) dedicated to Hindu Gods at river Ganges. Return to the hotel and overnight at hotel.
Early morning (at sunrise) explore Varanasi bathing ghats by boat ride on river Ganges. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After Breakfast, explore the city tour of Varanasi – Visit the famous Bharat Mata temple which is very unique as it is not dedicated to any God or Goddess, instead it has a marble statue of mother India and a big map depicting mountains, rivers, plains and oceans perfectly scaled. was This temple was gifted by the nationalists Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta and Shri Durga Prasad Khatri & was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1936.
Also visit Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, the mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and Banaras Hindu University which houses New Vishvanath temple, an art gallery known as ‘The Bharat Kala Bhavan’ with rare collections.
Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch flight to Khajuraho. Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.

After breakfast, explore the erotic Eastern & Western Group of Chandela Temples in Khajuraho. These were built by sandstone during the Chandela empire between 950 and 1050 A.D.
Khajuraho – famous for beautifully carved erotic sculptors is listed in world heritage site and is very popular among tourists. Later drive to Jhansi station en route visiting Orchcha (175 km / approx 4 hrs drive).
Orchha was found by Rajput ruler Rudra Pratap Singh of the Bundela Dynasty in 16th century.He built the Orchha fort and was the first king of Orchha. Orchha fort complex consists of several connected buildings constructed at different times, famous of which are Raj Mahal Palace & Jahangir Palace. Jahangir Palace was built by Orchha king to please the Mughal prince Jahangir when he was informed about the disputes of Jahangir with his father.It was built on the lines of Mughal architecture with colourful frescoes and paintings. Also visit the beautiful Laxminarayan Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple – dedicated to lord Rama at Orchha.
Later drive to Jhansi station to catch train for Agra (approx. 20 km away from Orchcha). Assistance on arrival at Agra station and transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Agra.
Early morning enjoy sunrise with fabulous and world famous Taj Mahal which is one of the seven wonders of world. It was built by Shahjahan for his beloved wife. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632 and was completed in 1653.
Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit to magnificent Agra Fort located at the right bank of Yamuna River. It was built by Emperor Akbar from 1565 to 1573. His grandson Shahjahan also made some additions to it. See another monument known as Itmad-ud-daulah. This mausoleum was constructed between 1622 and 1628 by Nūr Jahān, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirzā Ghiyās Beg, who had been given the title of I’timād-ud-Daulah (pillar of the state).
OPTIONAL: In the evening you may watch “Mohabbat the Taj” a cultural show.

Breakfast at hotel. Later proceed to Jaipur.(approx. 260 km/ 05 Hrs drive). Enroute make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, to honour Saint Salim Chisti who forecasted the birth of 3 sons to Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri- planned as the capital of the Mughal Empire, was later abandoned after a time span of 15 years due to the paucity of water.
The whole complex is made up of red sand stone in Indian and Persian style which consists of Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public audience), Diwan–i–Khas (Hall of Private audience, Panch mahal-Five storeyed building & other Palaces still reflects the unique architectural influences with original glory.
Continue drive for Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. In the evening, you can also see the Birla temple and can see the local bazaars.

Breakfast at hotel. Later visit Amber Fort situated in Amer at a distance of about 11 km from Jaipur. It was the old capital of Rajasthan before Jaipur. It is set high on a hill and you can go there by enjoying Royal Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance. Fort built with red sandstone and marble overlooks Maota lake. Fort was constructed by Raja Man Singh I in 1592, the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army. It consists of many pavilions and halls which highlights the wonderful carvings and mirror work – designed in Indian and Mughal architecture.
Afternoon, enjoy the city tour of Jaipur by covering the miniature of City Palace-a landmark of Jaipur consists a rich collection of costumes, textiles armory and weapons. A major part of the palace has been turned into a museum now which is home to unique handcrafted products, Jantar Mantar – a largest astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in 1728.
Drive past the Hawa Mahal also known as ‘Palace of Winds’ It was originally built for the ladies of the royal family to watch everyday life and processions in the city from their veiled comfort. Jaipur well known as Pink city (as almost all the buildings of Jaipur are painted pink) treasures with in the pride of jewellery and handicraft making. Your visit to gems, jewels and carpet weaving workshops will make you feel special.

After breakfast, drive to Delhi (265 km / approx.5-6 hrs drive). Arrive Delhi and check-in at the Hotel.
