01: Arrive Kolkata

Arrive Kolkata, our representative will meet and greet you and discuss about your trip to India and check-in at hotel.

Overnight at the hotel.

02 :Kolkata – Gangasagar – Kolkata

Breakfast at hotel. Later excursion tour of Gangasagar (120 km / approx 2 hours drive – one way)

The island of Gangasagar is one of the most famous Hindu pilgrimage centres in India. Every year on Makar Sankranti (mid-January), pilgrims from all over India, gather at Gangasagar for a holy dip at the confluence of the river Ganga and the Bay of Bengal. After the holy dip, the pilgrims offer ‘Puja’ at the Kapil Muni Temple or Ashram. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Gangasagar Mela is organized in this island, which is one of the biggest fairs in West Bengal. Gangasagar finds mention in many tales of Hindu mythology and in ancient Indian literature like the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, a novel of Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay and a poem of Rabindranath Tagore.

The lighthouse at Gangasagar offers a panoramic view of this spectacular beach, from where you can enjoy sunrise and sunset. During sunset, the sky turns golden with a patch of red on the horizon and the silver sand reflects the last rays of the sun. Photography is not restricted on this island. Later on return to Kolkata.

03 :Kolkatta  -Puri By Train

Packed breakfast from hotel. Later transfer to railway station to board train at 0600/1430 hours for Puri.

Arrive Puri railway station, assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for independent activities.

04 : Puri

After breakfast, visit to famous temples – The Jagannath Temple is sacred to the Vaishnava traditions and saint Ramananda who was closely associated with the temple. It is also of particular significance to the followers of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism whose founder, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, was attracted to the deity, Jagannath, and lived in Puri for many years. Rest of the day free.

05 : Puri – Konark – Bhubaneshwar

After breakfast, drive to Bhubaneshwar via visiting Konark Sun Temple.

Arrive Bhubaneshwar and check-in at hotel. Later visit Bhubaneswar famous Temple. Rest of the day free  for independent activities.

Overnight at hotel.

06 :Bhubaneshwar – Kolkatta By Train

Packed breakfast from hotel. Later transfer to Bhubaneshwar railway station to board train at 0600/1240 hour for Kolkata.

Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Later city sightseeing tour of Kolkata.

• Dalhousie Square (Covering Raj Bhavan, St. John’s church, High Court, GPO, Town Hall, Writer’s Building and other important colonial buildings).
• Victoria Memorial (Closed on Monday & National Holidays),
• St. Paul cathedral.

07: Depart Kolkatta

After breakfast, transfer to airport to connect flight for onward journey.
