DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI 
  • Arrive Delhi by international flight.
  • Garlanding with fresh flowers upon arrival at airport.
  • Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
  • Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02 IN DELHI (B)Humayun Tomb, Delhi
The capital of India, Delhi blends an historic past and a vibrant present. The Imperial city planned for the British by Lutyens is set in parks and shaded avenues. Legend has it that Delhi, then called Indraprastha, was originally founded around 1200 B.C. by the Pandavas, the august heroes of the epic Mahabharata. Present day Delhi is built around the ruins of seven ancient cities.

  • Morning city sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial), drive past President's House, Sikh temple, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings.

DAY 03 DELHI - JAIPUR BY CAR (B)Amber Fort, Jaipur, Rajasthan
Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, was founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha clan, the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of making to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities - and repainted in 1876, during the visit of the Prince of Wales. The city is best explored on foot and the adventurous visitor willing to go into the inner lanes can discover a whole new world not visible to the tourist-in-a-hurry.

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Morning drive to Jaipur (265 km / 165 miles / approx 5 hrs drive).
  • Upon arrival at Jaipur, check-in at hotel.
  • Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Jaipur, visiting Maharaja's City Palace, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the Royal Observatory, Albert Hall. Later drive through this Pink City's business and residential areas.
  • Overnight at hotel.

DAY 04 IN JAIPUR (B)

  • Morning excursion to Amer Fort with elephant ride. Amber Fort the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend on Elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated.
  • Rest of the day free for local shopping in the malls and local bazaars.
  • Overnight at hotel.

DAY 05 JAIPUR – FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA BY CAR (B)Taj Mahal, Agra
The Taj Mahal was built by the third Mughal emperor of India, Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died during childbirth. Although it is not known for sure who planned the Taj Mahal, the name of an Indian architect of Persian descent, Ustad Ahmad Lahori, has been cited in many sources. As soon as construction began in 1630, masons, craftsmen, sculptors, and calligraphers were summoned from Persia, the Ottoman Empire, and Europe to work on the masterpiece. It took 12 years of hard labour and 20,000 labourers to build the mausoleum.

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Morning drive to Jaipur en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri (235 km / 147 miles / approx 5 hrs drive). 
  • Fatehpur Sikri 38 km before Agra, the `Deserted City' built by the Mughal Emperor - Akbar the Great in 1569 and later abandoned due to political reasons and scarcity of water. See the halls of Public and Private Audience, the royal apartments and the Panch Mahal. In the religious section see the Jumma Masjid and the exquisite tomb of Salim Chisti.
  • Upon arrival at Agra, check-in at hotel 
  • Overnight at hotel.

DAY 06 IN AGRA (B)Fatehpur Sikri, Agra

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
  • Later visit Agra Fort near the gardens of the Taj Mahal stands the important 16th-century Mughal monument known as the Red Fort of Agra. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques.
  • Rest of the day free for local shopping in the malls and local bazaars.
  • Overnight at hotel.

DAY 07 AGRA – DELHI BY CAR (B)

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Morning drive to Delhi (205 km / 128 miles / approx 4 hrs drive).
  • Upon arrival at Delhi, transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
